Celebrating Over 20 Years of Partnership

2009 marked the 20th Anniversary of the NDA/NDAF and Colgate-Palmolive Partnership. A Partnership which has:


  1. BulletProvided $3,431,716 in scholarship funding for 2,439 students. Recipients include: dental students, dental research students, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and post-doctoral students. Awards range from $500 - $10,000, and encompass 80% of all US dental schools.

  2. BulletProvided $4,000,000 in student & faculty research funding to Howard, Meharry, and Morehouse. A student Research Day is held annually at Colgate-Palmolive Technology Institute, in Piscataway, NJ, where research students from Meharry Medical College and Howard College of Dentistry give oral presentations to CP Technology research scientists and executives.

  3. BulletSupported community oral health programs by member dentists, dental hygienists & assistants, SNDA and USNDA.

  4. BulletDonated $684,000 over the past 20 years to the NDA for its annual conventions.
